At De Parma gallery, mid 20th century designer furniture is our passion. We love design, architecture, furniture, art and collaborative creations.
With a gallery full of incredible pieces, we aim to spread our passion as mid 20th century design aficionados as much as possible. Naturally, we are always thrilled to accept the opportunity showcase some of our stunning pieces from the De Parma gallery.
Here are some behind the scene images from the Erdem fashion show, where they created a mid century haven with a few pieces contributed by us, to set the scene for their new collection.
You’ll spot our stunning Bernard Radford for Rosental – tall, glazed, English vase from the 1950’s. Also making an appearance and merging beautifully with the set, were a couple of our set of 8 Brazilian rosewood dining chairs from the 1950’s.
We also contributed to an art installation booth at the Frieze Masters exhibition last year by Brown and Pank, for their piece called “The Collector”.
This installation was based on a fictitious man living in Paris in 1968 simply known as “The Collector” and went down an absolute storm at the event.
In this installation our stunning 1940s Italian chest of drawers had a prime post and we were utterly thrilled that it helped to set the scene of an authentic mid 20th century home.
Here is a video of “The Collector”.
